- The GIS Department was recently featured in the July/August 2004 imagiNEWS newsletter . The publication is produced by IMAGIN, the state's largest non-profit GIS organization.
- Internal tests of our new web-mapping service, "I- MapLive!" have begun. Township-wide rollout will commence after successful testing of the application.
- The Township's new aerial photos were successfully flown April 15-16, 2004. Orthophoto and 2-foot contour were delivered in Fall 2004.

- New aerial photos were successfully flown April 15-16, 2004! The photos are currently being processed and rectified to existing Township GIS layers. Orthophoto and 2-foot contour delivery expected in Fall 2004.
- Basic descriptions of GIS layers housed in the Township's GIS are now available online. The layers listing is also offered in PDF.
- The GIS Department's map gallery has been updated with the following maps: Tax Parcels, Road Network, Voting Precincts, Sewer Network, and Water Network.
- July 1, 2003 - Official Zoning map for the Township nearing completion with final edits approved. GIS Department maps also included in new Planning & Zoning website to highlight current zoning cases.
- June 1, 2003 - Installation of The Omega Group's CrimeView 2002 was completed in late April 2003. Multiple datasets are now being mapped on a daily basis. An overview presentation for CrimeView 2002 was given at last month's IMAGIN GIS Conference.
